About Desert Down

 

"Hey y'all I am Liv, the owner of DD. I am a 27 year old wife and mama to my two rowdy boys! My family makes their home in Southeastern Iowa, but we love to travel and grasp style from the south. During my younger years of travel, I lived in Texas for 2 years and fell completely IN LOVE with western fashion, hand crafted leather and the art of turquoise jewelry. The Midwest tends to be the last one to get reach new trends, but leave it to me to bring something new and different here! A true cactus in a cornfield if you will ;)

One of my biggest goals within DD is to keep my products affordable, wearable, and comfortable. I want everyone to feel good when they are wearing something form Desert Down. Yes, I style pieces to fit my western style, but most of our inventory is wearable for several different tastes and esthetics!
